12-Day Southern Circuit Tanzania Safari
Tanzania’s Southern Circuit offers a truly wild experience. The wildlife viewing starts the moment the plane touches down in Ruaha National Park, a rugged, semi-arid landscape dotted with majestic baobabs and herds of giraffes browsing the tops of acacia trees.
Next, head to Selous Game Reserve. Bigger than Switzerland, Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park) is the largest protected reserve in Africa and offers unparalleled opportunities for exploration. Experience the incomparable awe of watching a mother elephant with her calf, or chase a pack of African wild dogs as they go on the hunt.
Selous Game Reserve provides wonderful opportunities for the active traveler to get a closer look at wildlife, from the thrill of rafting down the Rufigi River to the tranquility of nature walks.

15-Day Northern and Western Tanzania Safari
Enjoy Tanzania’s rich, unspoiled wildernesses and abundant wildlife with a Serengeti safari and exploration of Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park. Make person-to-person connections with visits to Hadzabe and Maasai villages, and explore humanity’s shared history at the site where Mary and Louis Leakey discovered our ancestor Homo habilis.
After checking the Big 5 off your viewing list, cap your trip off with a stay in Mahale Mountains National Park for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to encounter chimpanzees in nature. Be filled with awe and a new understanding of our relationship with the wild.

5-8 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Trek
Kilimanjaro offers the chance to scale to the “roof of Africa.” The highest peak and most famous mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro is a heavy challenge, more from the rigors of altitude than the actual hike itself. The climb takes hikers through thick forests and alpine grasslands, desolate rock faces and brilliant white glaciers. Choose from several routes to the top depending on your skill level and desired number of days. You can combine your trek with a full safari and beachside recuperation in Zanzibar.

Mount Meru, the second-highest mountain in Tanzania, is a dormant volcano located about 40 miles west of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the centerpiece of Arusha National Park.
4-Day Mount Meru Trek
Mount Meru in Arusha National Park is often overlooked in favor of its bigger neighbor, Mount Kilimanjaro. However, the sheer beauty of this hike makes it an attractive option for the discerning traveler. The landscape is particularly scenic, with the early parts of the trail passing through lush rainforests of fig trees, and the rest of the mountain’s terrain ranges from jungle to forest to plains. Black-and-white colobus monkeys scamper high in the canopy, and other wildlife sightings may include elephants, reticulated giraffes, zebras, dik-diks, lions, and cheetahs.
And since you’re already in Arusha National Park, why not add an Arusha safari to your itinerary?

Enjoy the gorgeous Indian Ocean beaches of Zanzibar.
4-Day Zanzibar Extension
Zanzibar is possibly the best place in East Africa for a luxurious beach vacation. Enjoy days of lounging next to crystal-clear waters, or explore the coast with scuba diving and dhow cruises. Stimulate your senses with a tour of a local spice farm. And don’t forget the bustling marketplaces of Stone Town, which boasts breathtaking mosques and magnificent old fortresses.
